CERAMICS
The Torrington Parks and Recreation Department is sponsoring several Ceramic classes in the coming months. The classes are for ages 6 & up, on Fridays at Recreation Hall on E. Albert Street, from 4:00 - 5:15pm and taught by Jody Forsberg. Sign Ups are being taken at the Parks and Recreation Office located at 153 South Main St.

HALLOWEEN PARTY
WZBG and Torrington Parks And Recreation Department is sponsoring a Halloween Party Saturday, Oct. 25th at the Armory. The party will be from 1:00 - 3:00pm. Tom O'Brien a professional magician will amaze you with his magic. Costume contest in age and category groups, bring a decorated or carved pumpkin for a contest, games, DJ, prizes, food and drink will be provided.
WZBG MR.JACK-O-LANTERN MYSTERY VOICE CONTEST
WZBG and the Torrington Parks and Recreation Department are sponsoring the Mr. Jack-O-Lantern contest. Litchfield County children in grades k - 5 will try to guess the identity of the Mr. Jack-O-Lantern Mystery Voice. Clues will be played a couple times a day, Monday - Friday on WZBG, starting Oct. 22nd. Entries for the contest must be mailed in to Torrington Parks and Recreation Department, 153 South Main St. Youngsters name, age, address, phone number, and guess must be included on each entry. Contestants can mail one entry each day of the contest. All entries must be mailed to Torrington Parks and Recreation Department by 10/30. The entries of all who correctly identify Mr. Jack-O-Lantern will be placed in a large pumpkin and Mr. Jack-O-Lantern will draw out the lucky winner on 10/31. Info - 489-2274.
