Torrington Budget Hearing - May 6th
A citywide $94.2 million budget proposal for 2004-2005 will go to a special
joint meeting of the City Council and Board of Finance on Thursday, May 6th.
The public hearing will take place in the City Hall Auditorium at 7:00 PM.
The overall budget proposal includes the school board's $49.5 million and
city government's $44.8 million spending package. The proposal is up 4.95%
over the $89,769,372 budget approved for 2003-2004.
