The public is invited to meet Governor M. Jodi Rell during her visit to the City of Torrington this Wednesday, August 4th at the Warner Theatre.
Governor Rell plans to meet with the public from 10:30 to 11:30 AM in the theater's lobby. She is looking forward to meeting and greeting anyone who wishes to stop by. Her only request is that no gifts, including flowers, be brought to her.
The Governor has held open houses similar to this recently in New London, Stamford, Danbury, Middlebury, and Bristol. Each of the events drew hundreds of people. Her first open house at the Capitol brought a crowd of almost 950 people.
