MINUTES
BOARD OF PUBLIC SAFETY
January 11, 2012
A SPECIAL TELEPHONIC MEETING of the Board of Public Safety was held in the Mayor's Office on Wednesday, January 11, 2012.
Those in attendance included Mayor Ryan J. Bingham, Members of the Board of Public Safety Douglas Benedetto, James Potter, and Darlene Battle. Member Richard Zaharek attended via telephone. Members Angelo LaMonica and Christopher Cook were absent.
Mayor Bingham called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
On a motion by Commissioner Potter, seconded by Commissioner Battle, the Board voted unanimously to enter Executive Session under Police Personnel at 6:01 p.m.
OPEN SESSION
On a motion by Commissioner Battle, seconded by Commissioner Zaharek, the Board voted unanimously to enter Open Session at 6:25 p.m.
HIRE PROBATIONARY POLICE OFFICER: Sandquist
On a motion by Commissioner Battle, seconded by Commissioner Zaharek, the Board voted unanimously to hire Farren Sandquist as a Probationary Police Officer.
ADJOURNMENT
On a motion by Commissioner Benedetto, seconded by Commissioner Battle, the Board voted unanimously to adjourn at 6:30 p.m.
