Planning on attending a Twisters game but not too sure how to get there..... This should help...
The Torrington Twisters play all of their home games at Fuessenich Park in downtown Torrington Connecticut. Torrington is located in the beautiful rolling hills of Litchfield County in the Northwest corner of the state.
From Points West
Follow Interstate 84 East to Route 8 North (Exit 20). Take Route 8 North to Exit 44 (Route 202). At traffic light at end of ramp turn left. Follow to Main Street. Turn left on Main and Fuessenich Park is on the left past the shopping center.
From Points East
Follow Interstate 84 West to Route 44 West (Exit 50). Follow 44 West to Route 202 West in Canton. Follow Route 202 West to Main Street and turn Left. Fuessenich Park is on the left past the shopping center.
ABOUT THE NECBL
The New England Collegiate Baseball League is summer collegiate baseball at its best! The NECBL is sanctioned by the NCAA and partially funded by Major League Baseball. As a charter member of the prestigious National Alliance of Collegiate Summer Baseball (NACSB), the NECBL is one of the most talented and competitive leagues in the country.
The League starts its summer season in early June and plays an eight week 42 game per team schedule. The League Championship is determined by a playoff in early August. Each year our top players are scouted and selected in the MLB Draft.
The Twisters sponsor many Special Promotion Nights throughout the season such as Firemen, Policemen Appreciation Day, Torrington Middle School Night, Elementary School Reading Night, Church Night, Torrington Little League Night, Father/Son Night, Armed Forces Night, Chamber of Commerce Night, All Star Night, Fan Appreciation Night and others.
During the season the Twisters also partake in many community events such as baseball clinics, autograph signing, and the new Twister Forum that allows fans to chat with their favorite Twister players online.
