Board of Finance Meeting

Torrington residents may submit comments in writing to the City Clerk’s Office before 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 20, 2020.   Written comments that are sent electronically to city_clerk@torringtonct.org or by mail to the City Clerk’s Office, 140 Main Street, Torrington, CT will be forwarded to the Board of Finance for their review in advance of the meeting.

1. Vote to accept the minutes of the regular meeting held August 18, 2020.
2. Vote to approve the IT Director’s request to enter into a multi-year contract with the managed detection and response provider, Red Canary of Denver, CO from October 30, 2020 through June 29, 2024 for the total amount of $104,632 to improve the cyber security posture of the City of Torrington against existing and emerging malicious cyber actors.
3. Vote to authorize the Fiscal Year 2019/2020 transfer requests and budget amendments described in the City Comptroller’s memo dated October 6, 2020.
4. Vote to accept the financial reports relating to the 2019 and 2020 Bonded Projects.
5. Vote to accept the Board of Education financial reports.
6. Discussion: Business by Department Heads.
7. Discussion: Business by the Mayor and Members of the Board of Finance.
8. Adjournment.
