BULK WASTE PICK-UP REQUEST FORM

BULK COLLECTION IS FOR TORRINGTON RESIDENTS ONLY

BUSINESS AND COMMERCIAL PROPERTIES MUST OBTAIN PRIVATE SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE

 

Due to substantial increase in the cost of bulk waste removal and disposal, the City of Torrington  implemented a permit program for bulk waste removal. The City will continue to pick up residents bulk waste but has adopted a permit based program.  The permits are to aid the City in recording and controlling the cost of disposal of bulk waste items. Bulk waste will still be picked up weekly on a scheduled basis.

Residents will be required to complete a Bulk Waste Permit form and submit it to the Public Works office at City Hall prior to scheduling.

As of February 01, 2022, no bulk waste will be picked up without a permit.
