IMPORTANT UPDATE REGARDING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC:

Out of concern for the health and safety of Torrington residents and in accordance with the Governor's Executive Orders, there will be no in-person public hearing to solicit citizen feedback regarding the proposed fiscal year 2020-2021 Board of Education budget. 

Members of the public are encouraged to submit comments on the proposed budget electronically or by mail to the City Clerk's office.  All comments will be shared with the Mayor and Board of Finance for their consideration prior to budget adoption and setting the mill rate.  The public is asked to submit comments electronically to: city_clerk@torringtonct.org or by mail to the City Clerk's Office, 140 Main Street, Torrington, CT 06790.
