Pearl Harbor Day Observance to be held at Coe Park on Saturday, December 7, 2019

The Torrington Veterans Memorial Committee, and its member groups, invites the public, current military personnel, and veterans, to join them in their Pearl Harbor Day Observance program on Saturday December 7, 2019. The program will be held, rain or shine, at Torrington’s Coe Park and will begin approximately 12:30 PM. In the case of inclement weather the ceremony will be held inside the Coe Park Civic Center.

The public is invited and encouraged to attend. Please make every effort to join us in paying tribute to the men and women - those who survived, those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country on that day 78 years ago, and their families.

If anyone has an American flag that is torn, faded, or otherwise damaged they may bring it to the ceremony and a member of a Veterans organization will take the flag and see that it is properly retired.

Also, if any organization would like to participate in the program by placing a wreath in observance of the day, please contact the Veteran Service Office at 860 4892531 by 3:00 PM, Monday December 2, 2019.
