Volunteers Needed for Board Vacancies

TORRINGTON CT – December 6, 2017 – Mayor Elinor Carbone is seeking residents who may be interested in filling vacancies on various boards and commissions. 

 

The City of Torrington currently has openings on the current boards and commissions:

 

Board of Assessment Appeals – Alternate member

Board of Ethics – 2 alternate members

Coe Memorial Park Committee – 2 members

Conservation Commission - 1 full member, 2 alternates

Economic Development Commission - 2 full members

Zoning Board of Appeals – 1 full member

 

“Torrington is very fortunate to have many individuals that volunteer their time and energy on various boards and commissions.  It’s so important that our municipal government be reflective of the community and I’m hopeful that we will be able to attract individuals who wish to serve their community” said Mayor Carbone.
