Provides administrative assistance to the Assessor in the valuation of real and personal property; assists in field investigations and inspections as assigned; collects and processes information to establish the Town Grand List. Acts for the Assessor and supervises the department clerical staff.
PREFERRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma, 4 years of experience in property appraisal and assessment, proficiency with tax assessment software and MS Office, and a valid driver’s license. Prior work experience in an Assessor’s office and supervisory experience in an office setting are desirable. CCMA I certification is desired, but must be obtained within one year of hire.
$66,072.93 with an excellent benefits package.
