Help Desk Technician

Information Technology Department

Provides technical support for various software and hardware systems utilized by City departments.  Performs repairs, installs, and modifications to computer software and hardware.  Comprehensive knowledge of modern enterprise networking, server infrastructure, and PC technologies such as virtualization, routing, VPNs, VLANs, DNS, MFA, PAM, Windows AD, NAS systems. Working knowledge of cloud based productivity and collaboration solutions such as Office 365, Sharepoint, Teams and Zoom.  Knowledge of Windows, Linux, ChromeOS, iOS and Android operating systems.  Understanding of enterprise mobile device management, configuration and administration.  Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to train users. Ability to securely and discreetly maintain data of a highly confidential nature.

Minimum Qualifications:
An Associate's degree in computer science or related field of study, A+ certifications and three years of experience with personal computer support services including wireless and local area networking.

To $50,000 annually with an excellent benefits package.
