Senior Account Clerk

Finance Office

The City of Torrington has an opening for the position of Senior Account Clerk.  This is a full time, 35 hour per week position in the Finance department. 

Qualifications:
Performs wide range of financial duties which may include: payroll, purchasing, accounting/ bookkeeping, accounts payable, and other clerical duties. High School graduate with 4 years of advanced bookkeeping/ accounting/ accounts payable work experience with 2 years of purchasing and computerized payroll work experience preferred.  Proficiency in Excel and Word software required.   

Salary:
$22.20 per hour with excellent benefits package.
