Veterans Memorial Committee
The Torrington Veterans Memorial Committee organizes tributes throughout the year to honor current military personnel, and all Veterans who served in any war or conflict. They also coordinate the Torrington Memorial Day parade.
All ceremonies are held at Coe Park rain or shine.
Please make every effort to join us in honoring the men and women who served during these times.
Observance Dates:
- Veterans Day – November 11
- Pearl Harbor Day – December 7
- Gulf War Veterans Day – February 28
- Vietnam Veterans Day – March 29
- Memorial Day - 3rd Monday of May (parade)
- Korean War Veterans Day - July 27
If anyone has an American flag that is torn, faded, or otherwise damaged they may bring it to the ceremony. A member of a Veterans organization will take the flag and see that it is properly retired.
