Municipal Development Plan

4. Vote to accept the recommendation of the Torrington Development Corporation and reapprove the Municipal Development Plan in accordance with section 8-189(b)(2) of the Connecticut general statutes.

 

Collective Bargaining Agreements

5. Vote to approve the three year City of Torrington and Torrington City Hall Employees, Local 2212 AFSCME, Counsel 4, AFL-CIO Successor Agreement commencing July 1, 2018 and expiring June 30, 2021.

6. Vote to approve the three year City of Torrington and Torrington Public Works Employees, Local 2212 AFSCME, Counsel 4, AFL-CIO Successor Agreement commencing July 1, 2018 and expiring June 30, 2021.

 

Road Reconstruction Contract

7. Vote to accept the recommendation of the City Engineer and Deputy Public Works Director to award the contract for the reconstruction of various roads, as described in Paul Kundzins’ memo dated April 11, 2019, to Waters Construction Company of Bridgeport, CT for $2,611,359.90 and authorize the Mayor to act on behalf of the City regarding the award and execution of the contract agreement.

 

Small Cities Invoices

8. Vote to approve the following payments from Fund 250 – Program Income: (SEE ATTACHED)

 

Release of Liens

9. Vote to accept Corporation Counsel’s recommendation and authorize the Mayor, pursuant to C.G.S. §12-179, to release the liens described in Atty. Muschell’s memo dated April 15, 2019.

 

Tax Collector Refunds

10. Vote to accept the recommendation of the Tax Collector and authorize the seven tax refunds indicated on the list dated April 15, 2019. 

11. Acting herein as the Water Pollution Control Authority, vote to accept the recommendation of the Tax Collector and authorize the five sewer usage refunds indicated on the list dated April 15, 2019.

12. Vote to accept the Building Department’s report for March, 2019.
