Minutes

1, Vote to accept the minutes of the regular meeting held October 21, 2019. 
 

Open to Public

2. Vote to open the meeting to the public. 
 

Mayoral Appointments

3. Vote to approve the Mayor’s appointment of Angaza Mwando, Delois Lindsey, Kathryn Meetz, Jasmine Hargrove, Deborah Justine Ickes, Julissa Martinez and Antoinette Denise Singleton as regular members of the Cultural Affairs Committee to fill existing vacancies for four-year terms expiring on December 31, 2020 with automatic reappointments through December 31, 2024. 

4. Vote to approve the Mayor’s appointment of Starley Arias and Daysi Granodeoro as regular members of the Cultural Affairs Committee to fill existing vacancies for four-year terms expiring on December 31, 2022. 
 

Recreation Trails Grants

5. Vote to adopt Resolution #142-196 authorizing the Mayor to enter into and sign contracts with the Dept. of Energy and Environmental Protection regarding Recreation Trails Grants, including the 2019 grant which was previously approved by the Council on October 7, 2019, for the reimbursement of funds spent toward the purchase of the 6.29 acres of abandoned rail bed from North Elm Street to Newfield Road.. 
 

Building Department’s Reports 

6. Vote to approve the Building Department’s reports for September, 2019 and October, 2019. 
 

Release of Liens

7. Vote to accept Corporation Counsel’s recommendation and authorize the Mayor, pursuant to C.G.S. §12-179, to release the liens described in Atty. Muschell’s memo dated November 12, 2019. 
 

Tax Collector Refunds

8. Vote to accept the recommendation of the Tax Collector and authorize the 201 tax refunds indicated on the list dated November 12, 2019.  

9. Herein acting as the WPCA, vote to accept the recommendation of the Tax Collector and authorize the two sewer usage refunds indicated on the list dated November 12, 2019.
