Presentation of Certificates

 

Public Comment: (in-person only)

Vote to open the meeting to the public, in accordance with Section 4(e) of the City Council & WPCA Meeting Rules of Procedure.

 

Approve Minutes

  1. Vote to accept the Public Hearing minutes from November 14, 2022.
  2. Vote to accept the Regular meeting minutes from November 14, 2022.  

 

Parks and Recreation Commission

Vote to reappoint Michael Fritch (R) as a member of the Parks and Recreation Commission for a 5-year term set to expire December 1, 2027.

Small Cities Subordination Request

On the recommendation of the Small Cities Committee, vote to authorize the City of Torrington to subrogate their current Small Cities lien, in the amount of $19,669, from second to the third position so that they can acquire a $15,000 Home Equity Loan from Torrington Savings Bank, as further explained in Treasurer Dan Farley’s memo dated November 14, 2022.

 

THS/TMS Builders Risk Policy

Vote to approve the Builders Risk Policy for the High School, Middle School, and Central Office construction project, including the existing high school, to Travelers Insurance Company, of Hartford, as further explained in the Building Committee Co-Chair’s memo dated November 17, 2022, pending approval from the Building Committee and the Board of Education on November 17, 2022.

 

Building Department Report

Vote to accept the Building Department Report from September 2022.

 

Sewer Use Lien Release

 Vote to release the sewer use liens in the Corporation Counsel’s memo of November 21, 2022.

 

Tax Collector Refunds

Vote to accept the recommendation of the Tax Collector and authorize the tax refunds indicated on the list dated November 21, 2022.
