  1. Vote by the Board of Finance to appoint Clifton Larson Allen, LLP (CLA), of West Hartford, CT as our City auditor for FY22.

  1. Review and discussion regarding the proposed City budget for the fiscal period from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023.
  1. Vote by the City Council to approve the proposed City Department budgets, as amended, for the fiscal period from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023.

PUBLIC HEARING: to solicit citizen input regarding the proposed City budget for the fiscal period from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023.

Comments from the public: Written comments that are sent electronically to city_clerk@torringtonct.org or by mail to the City Clerk’s Office, 140 Main Street, Torrington, CT 06790 before 4:00 p.m. on Monday May 23, 2022, will be forwarded to the Board of Finance for their review in advance of the public hearing. Members of the public who choose to attend in person will have the opportunity to present their comments at the public hearing. Each speaker will be granted up to three minutes to present his/her comments.
