Street Paving to Begin August 4th

Starting on Friday, August 4, 2017 The City of Torrington will begin a pavement re-surfacing project on the following streets:

Circle Drive, Coach Light Lane, Gate Post Lane, Linton Street, Silver Brook Lane and Nutmeg Drive.

These projects should be completed in approximately 2 weeks with some disruption to daily activities. Vehicular traffic will be delayed 15 to 30 minutes immediately after re-surfacing.

For safety and convenience please try to avoid these areas if at all possible. Traffic will be allowed but you can expect delays. Please plan additional travel time while construction is in progress.

Also, please do not park any vehicles on these streets between the hours of 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM while work is being done. Vehicles in the way and requiring removal will be towed at the owner’s expense.

However, after work is completed for the day, parking on the street is allowed during the evening hours.
