SALE OF MEALS ON WHEELS DELIVERY TRUCK
 
The City of Torrington Elderly Nutrition Program is selling one (1) Meals on Wheels delivery truck. The truck will be offered “AS IS” with no warranties written or implied. The truck will be sold to the highest bidder greater than the lowest acceptable bid of $5,600.  Truck may be inspected at the City of Torrington Maintenance Facility, 107 Arthur Street, Torrington, CT, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM by appointment only. Call the Elderly Nutrition Supervisor at (860)-482-4151 or Equipment Maintenance Fleet Manager at (860) 489-2349.
 
Vehicle # 1:  2009 Ford F-150 4x2, approx. 87,022 miles - includes working hot shot standard thermostatically controlled oven and refrigerator box. Vehicle is in good working condition. Repair records available upon request. VIN # 1FTRF12W59KB49129.
 
Bid opening date: June 9, 2020 at 11:00 AM. Submit bid to the office of the Purchasing Agent, City of Torrington, 140 Main Street, Room 206, Torrington, CT 06790. Envelopes should be clearly marked “Elderly Nutrition 2009 Meals on Wheels Delivery Truck Bid”.
