ELISE BESSE PARK SKATEPARK PROJECT

The City of Torrington, CT, Department of Public Works - Parks and Recreation (Parks) is seeking letters of interest and Statements of Qualifications for skatepark design and construction services for the Elise Besse Park Skatepark Project.

 

This project is a “skatepark” on a site approximately 16,000 square feet and designated for beginner, intermediate or expert levels. This project is a 9,000-to-11,000 square feet cast-in-place and/or shotcrete concrete skatepark facility.

 

The Respondent’s shall be delivered to the Purchasing Department, 140 Main Street, Room 206, Torrington, CT 06790 during normal office hours by no later than 11:00 A.M.,  Friday, September 9, 2022.  Submittals received after this date and time will not be accepted. Sealed envelope(s) should be clearly marked:   ”RFQ EBS-038-090922 ELISE BESSE PARK SKATEPARK PROJECT. Proposals may not be submitted by e-mail or fax.

 

All questions must be submitted by email to pennie_zucco@torringtonct.org by Wednesday, August 31, 2022 by 12:00 noon. Questions will be answered through an addendum which will be posted on the City of Torrington website. Interested firms should check the website 48 hours before the closing date. Firms mailing proposals should allow for normal delivery time to ensure timely receipt of their proposals.

 

The City will not be liable for any costs incurred  by a firm in the preparation or submission of a proposal.

 

The City of Torrington reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals; to waive any informalities; to negotiate and award a contract that it determines best meets their needs and best serve the interests of the City of Torrington.

 

There will not be a public opening of this proposal
