The City of Torrington is soliciting proposals from interested qualified firms for the Design, Engineering and Installation of three level-2 electrical vehicle and/or DCFC charging stations to be located at prescribed municipal properties under the terms of the Eversource CT Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Program and CT Department of Energy and Environmental Protection ZEV Infrastructure Program.
Applicants should demonstrate a record of successful experience with the installation of similarly sized projects, preferably on municipal land and funded via public funding sources.
Proposals will be accepted at the address below until the proposal deadline of September 19, 2022 by 11:00 AM Eastern time. Late proposals will be rejected. Proposals will be compiled, recorded, and reviewed as they are received. The last day and time to submit questions is September 12, 2022 2:00 PM.
The City of Torrington reserves the right to reject any or all proposals wholly or in part as it sees fit and in the interest of its responsibility to its community; to waive technicalities and informalities; to make awards in a manner deemed best to the City; and to correct any award erroneously made because of a clerical error on the part of the City.
