Sealed bids are invited and will be received by the City of Torrington, at the office of the City Purchasing Agent, City Hall, 140 Main Street, Torrington, Connecticut until 11:00 AM, March 4, 2020 at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
 
The project work includes milling and paving 2.3 miles of various roads and associated works. Roads include Wimbledon Gate North, Notting Hill Gate, Chelsea Ct, and Riverside Ave.
 
The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Specifications, and other Contract Documents will be available through digital download at www.torringtonct.org/bids.

A bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid shall accompany each bid. A non-collusion statement for Prime Contractors and any addendum acknowledgement must also be submitted at the time of the bid.
 
The City of Torrington reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities, or; to award the contract to a bidder other than the lowest bid, and to award the contract as it feels will best serve the public interest.
