RENTAL OF ROBOTIC TOTAL STATION
Rental of Robotic Total Station for Engineering Department
The City of Torrington Engineering Department has an immediate need for a one-man Robotic Total Station survey system for topographic and road construction surveying for the remainder of 2018 or as weather permits.
This request is an invitation to interested survey equipment companies to bid on the rental of Robotic Total Station survey equipment as listed below:

Interested companies are asked to submit written pricing to the City of Torrington Purchasing Department, Room 206, no later than 11:00 AM local time on Friday, October 19, 2018.
NOTE: Literature regarding all rental equipment MUST be included with submitted proposal (i.e. make, model, etc.). Failure to submit literature with proposal may result in disqualification of quote. All other costs for maintenance, etc. shall be the responsibility of the vendor. The City of Torrington is exempt from sales tax.
Quotes received after the time and date specified will be rejected and returned unopened. In the event of the closure of City Hall, proposals will be opened on the following business day that City Hall reopens for business, no later than 11:00 a.m. on that day. All proposal submissions and materials become property of the City and will not be returned. Any alleged oral agreement made by a bidder or contractor with any agency or employee of the City of Torrington will be disregarded.
The City of Torrington reserves the right to award or reject any or all bids, or any portion thereof, to waive technicalities, to award the contract to a bidder other than the lowest bid and to award the bid and/or contracts to one or more bidders submitting essentially identical proposals and, that in the city’s judgment, will best serve the public interest.
