SIG SAUER HANDGUNS

The City of Torrington, Connecticut will receive sealed bids from licensed firearm manufacturers, wholesalers or retailers that shall provide new, current production Sig Sauer P320 models W320F-9-BXR3-PRO and W320C-9-BXR3-PRO, 9mm, PROFESSIONAL, BLK, STRIKER, X-RAY 3, MOD POLY X GRIP, (3) STEEL MAG, OPTIC READY, RAIL.

NO SUBSTITUTIONS

Sealed bids will be received until 11:00 A.M. on June 20, 2022. Outside of Mailing Envelopes/Packages must be clearly marked “SSH-023-062022, SIG SAUER HANDGUNS” and must bear the Name of the bidder. There will be no exceptions to this requirement. Contractors mailing bids should allow ample time to ensure the timely delivery of their bid. Bids received after the closing date and time will not be accepted or considered. Faxed, emailed, or telephone bids are not acceptable. The City of Torrington shall not be held responsible for lost or misdirected bids.

Deadline for questions is June 10, 2022 by 12:00 noon. All questions about the bid requirements may be addressed to Purchasing Agent Pennie Zucco, pennie_zucco@torringtonct.org. Questions will be answered through an addendum which shall be posted on the city and state websites. It is the vendor’s responsibility to check these sites for addenda’s.

All prices and notations must be typed or printed in ink. No erasures are permitted. Mistakes may be crossed out and corrections must be initialed in ink by the person signing the bid. Bids must be signed by an Authorized Representative of the submitting Company on the enclosed form. Bids must show unit and total prices if requested. In case of mistakes in price extension, unit pricing shall govern.

A bid may be withdrawn by giving written notice to the Purchasing Agent before the stated due date/closing time. After the stated closing time, the bid may not be withdrawn or canceled for a period of thirty days (30) days from closing time.

Failure to include in the bid all information requested may be cause for rejection of the bid. Bidders are expected to examine all specifications and instructions. Failure to do so will be at the bidder’s risk. Any samples, CDs, DVDs or any other items submitted with your bid will not be returned to the contractor.

The pistols will include the following specifications:

QUANTITY (70) Sig Sauer P320 Model W320F-9-BXR3-PRO, P320, 9MM, 4.7IN, PROFESSIONAL, BLK, STRIKER, X-RAY 3, MOD POLY X GRIP, (3) 17RD STEEL MAG, OPTIC READY, RAIL.

QUANTITY (20) Sig Sauer P320 Model W320C-9-BXR3-PRO, P320, 9MM, 3.6IN, PROFESSIONAL, BLK, STRIKER, X-RAY 3, MOD POLY X GRIP, (3) 15RD STEEL MAG, OPTIC READY, RAIL.

All bids must include a trade in credit for the following weapons:

QUANTITY (90) SIG SAUER P220R, .45 PISTOLS with NIGHT SIGHTS with (4) eight round steel mags.

QUANTITY (3) SIG SAUER P220R (carry version), .45 PISTOLs with NIGHT SIGHTS with (2) six round mags.

**Awarded contractor must allow ninety (90) days for City to provide trade-in merchandise**

Contractor is cautioned that surplus, seconds, factory rejects, closeouts or distressed items are not acceptable and, if furnished, will be rejected. The delivery of substandard items may result in cancellation of Contract.
