CT Department of Public Health Letter Releases Findings re. Woodridge Lake Sewer District Proposed Sewer Project

The CT Department of Public Health has released their findings and order in reference to the Woodridge Lake Sewer District's proposed regional sewer connection project.  The letter can be found Here.  In summation, the Department of Public Health has given 17 orders to Woodridge Lake Sewer District which the Department deems necessary to protect the Torrington Water Company's Allen Dam Reservoir and render such water safe for domestic use.

This correspondence is an important step in the process for the City as we have been patiently awaiting their determination.  To date, no formal application has been filed by the Woodridge Lake Sewer District proposing to hookup to the City of Torrington sewer system.
