CITY OF TORRINGTON
BOARD OF ASSESSMENT APPEALS
REAL ESTATE, PERSONAL PROPERTY and 
MOTOR VEHICLE SUPPLEMENT for GRAND LIST October 1, 2023
BY APPOINTMENT ONLY

The Board of Assessment Appeals will be hearing appeals for 2023 Real Estate, 2023 Personal Property, 2023 Motor Vehicle and 2022 Motor Vehicle Supplemental assessments, at the Torrington City Hall, 140 Main Street, Torrington, Room 311 on the following dates:  Monday, April 8th; Tuesday, April 9th; Wednesday, April 10th, and Thursday, April 11th.

Regular Motor Vehicle appeals can also be heard on September 11, 2024.

All April hearings are by appointment only. All residents of Torrington wishing to appeal their real estate, personal property, motor vehicle and supplemental motor vehicle assessments at the April hearings must file an application form.  The form will be available March 1, 2024 on the website: www.torringtonct.org on the BoAA or Assessor’s webpages or in the Assessor’s Office at the City Hall.  Once the completed application is received a letter will be sent to the appellant’s address with the scheduled date and time of hearing.

DUE TO SCHEDULING PROBLEMS, APPOINTMENTS CANNOT BE CHANGED.
