1. Vote to accept the minutes of the Regular Meeting held July 1, 2019.

2. Vote to open the meeting to the public.

 

ACC Appointment

3. Vote to appoint Jacque Williams as an ex-officio member of the Arts and Culture Commission for a two-year term to expire December 31, 2020.

 

Naugatuck River Greenway Multi-Use Trail project

4. Vote to accept the recommendation of the Deputy Public Works Director and City Engineer to award the contract for the Naugatuck River Greenway Multi-Use Trail project to Millennium Builders, Inc. of Rocky Hill, CT for the amount $351,373 and authorize the Mayor to act on the behalf of the City regarding the award and execution of the contract agreement. 

  

On-Call Engineering Services

5. Vote to accept the recommendation of the Deputy Public Works Director and City Engineer to enter into master agreements with VHB (Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Inc.) and Milone & MacBroom for on-call engineering services, as described in Paul Kundzins’ memo dated July 10, 2019, and authorize the Mayor to act on behalf of the City regarding the execution of the general service agreements and all future task orders.

 

Section B

5a. Vote to add Section “B” to the agenda.

5b. Section B: Vote to accept the recommendation of the Economic Development Director to waive the City’s bid process, and allow the City to request proposals for additional assessment work at 100 Franklin Street only from the 18 pre-qualified consulting firms from the State of CT, Department of Administrative Services (DAS) Contract number 18PSX0153 “Environmental Investigation, Remediation and Project Management Services”.

 

Release of Liens

6. Vote to accept Corporation Counsel’s recommendation and authorize the Mayor, pursuant to C.G.S. §12-179, to release the liens described in Atty. Muschell’s Memo dated July 15, 2019.

 

Tax Collector Refunds

7. Vote to accept the recommendation of the Tax Collector and authorize the two tax refunds indicated on the list dated July 15, 2019.

 

8. Acting herein as the WPCA, vote to accept the recommendation of the Tax Collector and authorize the sewer use refund indicated on the list dated July 15, 2019.

 

Building

9. Vote to accept the Building Department’s report for June, 2019.
