Torrington residents may submit comments in writing to the City Clerk’s Office before 4:00 p.m. on Monday, November 9, 2020.   Written comments that are sent electronically to city_clerk@torringtonct.org or by mail to the City Clerk’s Office, 140 Main Street, Torrington, will be forwarded to the City Council for their consideration in advance of the meeting.

1. Vote to approve the minutes of the public hearing held October 19, 2020.

2. Vote to approve the minutes of the regular meeting held October 19, 2020.

 

Appointments

3. Vote to approve the Mayor’s reappointment of Patricia Fairchild as a regular member of the Parks & Recreation Commission for a five-year term expiring on December 1, 2025

Blue Haus Group - Economic Development Consulting Services

5. Vote to authorize the Mayor to enter into a contract with Blue Haus Group for the scope of services and fee schedule outlined in phases 1 through 3 of their proposal.

7. Vote to accept Corporation Counsel’s recommendation and authorize the Mayor, pursuant to C.G.S. §12-179, to release the liens described in Atty. Muschell’s memo dated November 9, 2020.

8. Vote to accept the recommendation of the Tax Collector and authorize the tax refunds indicated on the list dated November 9, 2020.

9. Vote by the City Council herein acting as the WPCA to accept the recommendation of the Tax Collector and authorize the sewer usage refunds indicated on the list dated November 9, 2020.
