Public Comment

1. Vote to open the meeting to the public, in accordance with Section 4(e) of the City Council & WPCA Meeting Rules of Procedure. *For members of the public attending in-person only.

 

Minutes

2. Vote to approve the minutes of the regular meeting held April 5, 2021.

 

Contract Award: Reconstruction of Various Roads Phase 2021.1

3. Vote to accept the recommendation of the Deputy Public Works Director / City Engineer to award the contract for the City North Reconstruction Phase 2021.1 project to Asphalt Repair Solutions, Inc. of Oxford, CT for $2,699,635.05 with an expenditures allowance of up to $189,000 for quantity fluctuations and contingencies, and authorize the Mayor to act on behalf of the City regarding the award and execution of the contract agreement.

 

Modification of Budget Adoption Timeline

4. Vote to extend the budget adoption timeline for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2022, in accordance with Governor Lamont’s Executive Order No. 10E, to allow the City up to June 30, 2021 for final approval of the budgets.

 

WPCA Invoice

5. Vote by the City Council herein acting as the Water Pollution Control Authority to approve the following payment from Fund #490 Sanitary Sewer Capital Improvement: CLICK HERE.

 

Release of Liens

6. Vote to accept Corporation Counsel’s recommendation and authorize the Mayor, pursuant to C.G.S. §12-179, to release the liens described in Atty. Muschell’s memo dated April 19, 2021.

 

Tax Collector Refunds

7. Vote to accept the recommendation of the Tax Collector and authorize the tax refunds indicated on the list dated April 19, 2021.

8. Vote by the City Council, herein acting as the WPCA, to accept the recommendation of the Tax Collector and authorize the sewer usage refunds indicated on the list dated April 19, 2021.
