TRASH AND RECYLING BARRELS

The Public Works and Street Department would like to notify and remind residents to not put their Trash and Recycling barrels IN the roadway during snow events. The containers are an obstruction and prevent the snowplows from properly cleaning the roads and increase the risk of hitting the containers with the plow, damaging the barrels.

Trash and Recycling barrels should be left curbside or at the end of the driveway, not in the roadway to allow the Street Department personnel to clear snow from the roadway.
