RECONSTRUCTION OF CITY PARKING LOTS

Sealed bids are invited and will be received by the City of Torrington, at the office of the City Purchasing Agent, City Hall, 140 Main Street, Torrington, Connecticut until 11:00 AM, March 10, 2020 at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud.

 

The project work is includes reconstruction of City of Torrington parking lots including new curbing, sidewalks, driveway aprons, catch basin tops and associated miscellaneous works. City Parking lots include Police Station, Main Fire Station, North End Fire Station and Sullivan Seniors Center.

A bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid shall accompany each bid. A non-collusion statement for Prime Contractors and any addendum acknowledgement must also be submitted at the time of the bid.

 

The City of Torrington reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities, or; to award the contract to a bidder other than the lowest bid, and to award the contract as it feels will best serve the public interest.
