What Is the Torrington/WBDC Small Business Grant?

WBDC is partnering with the City of Torrington to offer grants between $2,500 and $10,000 to Torrington-based businesses for clearly defined projects that will have a measurable impact on their growth and profitability. 

Businesses do not need to be women-owned to be eligible.

Applications are currently being accepted and will be reviewed on a rolling basis each month until funds are exhausted.

You do not need to be a WBDC client to apply.

Learn about the Torrington/WBDC Small Business Grant. This session will cover eligibility criteria, the questions and documentation required for the grant application, and tips and tricks for success.

This is a grant of up to $10,000 for a project that will meaningfully grow your business. Eligible businesses must be over two years old, located in the City of Torrington, have an annual revenue of $25,000 - $2,000,000, and be owned by a Connecticut resident. This grant is open to both men's and women' s-owned businesses.
