3. Vote to appoint Alex Sobchuk to the Board of Assessment Appeals to fill an alternate vacancy for a term to expire 12/5/2019.
 
4. Vote to re-appoint George Noujaim to the Board of Assessment Appeals for a three year term to expire 12/5/2020
 
5. Vote to accept the Mayor’s appointment of Travis Lipinski to the Economic Development Commission to fill a vacancy for a term to expire 2/9/2019.
 
6. Vote to accept the Mayor’s appointment of JoAnn Fenty to the Economic Development Commission to fill a vacancy for a term to expire 2/9/2021.
 
7. Vote to accept the Mayor’s appointment of Diane Carroll to the Economic Development Commission to fill a vacancy for a term to expire 2/9/2023.

Acting herein as the Water Pollution Control Authority, vote to approve the following payments from Fund #490 Sanitary Sewer Capital Improvement: See attachments.

Vote to authorize the Mayor to provide written notice to UConn President Susan Herbst’s, in response to her letter dated February 28, 2018 regarding the City’s intentions on the offer to purchase the UConn property. Click here for a drawing of the proposed purchase area.

Vote to accept Corporation Counsel’s recommendation and authorize the Mayor, pursuant to CGS §12-179, to release the liens described in Atty. LaMere’s Memo dated March 5, 2018.

11. Vote to accept the recommendation of the Tax Collector and authorize the 70 tax refunds indicated on the list dated March 5, 2018. 
 
12. Acting herein as the Water Pollution Control Authority, vote to accept the recommendation of the Tax Collector and authorize the 14 sewer usage fee refunds indicated on the list dated March 5, 2018.

Vote to schedule a Public Hearing on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. to discuss the 2018 Community Development Block Grant program and to solicit citizen input.
